The main attractions close to the Swansea Log Cabin are the Brecon Beacons, the caves of Dan-yr-Ogof, country pubs, Henrhyd Waterfalls and the country roads towards the town of Brecon.
If you are looking to explore the coastline, a few miles down the Valley from the Swansea Log Cabin is Swansea Bay, The Mumbles and the award-winning beaches of the Gower Peninsula. There is a coastal path that is popular with walkers situated in the Gower.
If you are a keen cyclist, there are local cycle paths that can take you down the Swansea Valley to Swansea Bay or Afan Argoed Country Park has also been popular with our previous cyclist guests.
Of course, if you just want to relax and chill out the cabin is a peaceful retreat and local taxis are available together with local buses and the nearest train station is in Neath which is approximately 8 miles away.
